Indigenous Cultural Safety 101 Course

Indigenous Cultural Safety 101 is available to all FH staff who have not had an opportunity to register for the online San’yas ICS training course (8-16 hours). There are no prerequisites for this training session.
Learning objectives:
- Discuss the purpose and significance of Indigenous cultural safety in health care
- Formulate linkages between Canadian colonialism, trauma, and the social determinants of health from a population and health perspective
- Create professional strategies to advance cultural safety, health equity, and person-centered care
